The focus of our literary project is the multi-facets of diversity—and those facets are found in people of every cultural and ethnic background.

We define diversity as the following:

  • person of color
  • non-heteronormative
  • non-binary and/or trans
  • intersex
  • neuroatypical
  • physically disabled

Or any combination of the following:

  • white
  • person of color
  • non-heteronormative
  • non-binary and/or trans
  • intersex
  • neuroatypical
  • physically disabled

Note: We do accept submissions by white, cisgender, heterosexual, neurotypical, able-bodied individuals that portray exemplary displays of diversity.

Submission Guidelines

We accept nearly every genre and subject. This is a platform for the under-represented. We do not wish to limit your creativity, however, there are a few subjects we do not feel we can do justice to, due to our reading preferences and interests.

We do not accept the following:
Children's Literature
Middle Grade Literature
Erotica
Fan Fiction (because copyright)

It should be noted that we are not specifically looking for issues stories; likewise, this is not a place to soapbox your personal agenda. If you would like to submit work about racism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, ableism, etc., we would like to encourage you to do so creatively. Rants or anything we deem offensive will not be considered.

Miscellaneous Information:
We ask for non-exclusive rights, with a period of exclusivity of 3 months after publication. Meaning you are free to publish the piece elsewhere after the magazine has been released for 3 months. Therefore, you must be of legal age to sign a contract or have a legal guardian willing to sign on your behalf if you are not of legal age.

We are a paying market. Please go to our Payment Details page for more information.

Simultaneous submissions are accepted; but please inform us promptly if your work is chosen elsewhere.

Reprints will be considered as long as we know upfront that they are reprints.

At least 80% of all submissions must be in English.

There is no reading fee for submissions. Donations are greatly appreciated, but do not increase your chances of being selected.
